Behind The Scenes

Kisky Holwerda - Director

Kisky is excited to be making her Greenhouse debut with this beautiful cast and team. She is co-founder of Ponderosa Players, a youth theater company, alongside her partner Grey, where she recently co-directed and choreographed The Addams Family. Past and upcoming local choreography credits include Legally Blonde Jr. (BEAT), Little Shop of Horrors (Summit High School), The Little Mermaid (TMP), and Mamma Mia (Theater in the Park). As an actor, Kisky has performed in New York City, Portland and Bend, and can't wait to get back onstage as Daniel in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] here at The Greenhouse Cabaret. Thank you to Grey for always being my guiding light and loving me louder than words.

Daniel Schimmoller - Assistant Director

Daniel Schimmoller has spent plenty of time onstage, appearing in Greenhouse Cabaret’s The Old Man and the Old Moon as Mr. Matheson and enjoying diverse roles in the past from the Beast in Beauty and the Beast to Collins in Jonathan Larson’s Rent. He is excited to find himself on the other side of the stage for the first time as an assistant director with this talented group of artists. When not engaged in theater, Daniel works as a voice over artist, is an inveterate turophile, and enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife Amy.

Angelina Anello-Dennee - Music Director

Angelina Anello-Dennee studied Vocal Performance & Jazz Studies at Central Washington University and continued her music studies at Berklee College of Music. She is the founder and instructor at Musical Impressions Studios, teaching private voice, piano, and acting lessons. Her students have gone on to sing on Broadway, work in major films and television, be finalists on American Idol, and successful recording artists. Angelina is often sought after nationwide as an expert in belt singing for Musical Theatre. She can be seen around Central Oregon directing and/or musically directing several shows including Something Rotten!, Oklahoma!, Elf Jr, Into The Woods, Godspell, Westside Story, Nine, Little Women, Fun Home, Songs For A New World, and just recently Alice By Heart. Angelina is thrilled to be a part of her first Greenhouse Cabaret production. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, spending time with her friends, being in Mexico, and hanging out with her hubby and 3 boys.

Alex Delekta- Assistant Builder

Alex is happy to be a part of their first production at the Greenhouse Cabaret. Graduating from the University of Kansas with a Masters in Architecture, he followed a career in construction management to Los Angeles. After learning some trade skills, he decided corporate life wasn’t for him and moved to sunny Bend, Oregon in 2020. When not making a mess in the theater, he finds himself building furniture and doing home renovations. Alex is a local wood artist running his small business, Bearded Architect Designs, out of his little garage. He was stoked when he got the opportunity to craft a set with all of these creative and talented people. He did some theater in high school and is glad his profession brought him back to the stage. When not building things, he is usually with his partner, Maya, conjuring ideas for dinner and D&D inspiration.

Dora Novak - Costume Design

Dora Novak grew up in Iowa and recently moved from a 10-year career in New York, NY, to Bend. She is thrilled to be designing for The Greenhouse Cabaret and this truly amazing cast and theater. She started her love for design and dance with Iowa Dance Theater as a child and continues to serve on their board and work as an artistic director, choreographer, and stage manager. She attended SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory with a Composition Concentration and a minor in design construction. Dora has been designing and constructing costumes in NYC and LA for over a decade. Dora continues her work as an artist by costuming and designing dance, film, and TV, and joined IATSE in New York, Iowa and Oregon. Most notably she's worked at The Metropolitan Opera,  films The Irishman, West Side Story, and TV shows The Gilded Age.

Brooklyn Wagner - Communications

Brooklyn Wagner (she/her) moved to Bend in 2011 and lived a thousand lives in our community since then! But one of her greatest passions and inspirations is getting to take any project from a spark of an idea to its finish line. Her experience in theater and acting has ranged from backstage crew to comedic relief to leading lady, and with her immense love for Somewhere That’s Green and The Greenhouse Cabaret, she’s excited to help see tick, tick…BOOM! come to life on this special stage.
